The Critical Point
‘The Critical Point’ explores movement dramaturgy, expression, the partner’s presence and psycho-physical control. It poses vital, body-related questions that open up a dialogue between the already formed and that which is being formed in the process of constituting the performer. Statics and form are only a bridge, a vehicle that takes the action taker to critical points. Self-control and technique are only the tools to help them find themselves – the unpredictable ones, the critical ones.
